Day 1: Cochin – Athirappilly (80 Kms – Approx 2 Hrs Drive)
Upon arrival will meet and proceed to Athirappilly. Athirappilly Falls nicknamed as the “Nigara” of India is the largest waterfalls in Kerala at the enterance of Sholayar ranges which stands tall at 80 feet and originates from the upper reaches of the Western Ghats. Just a short drive from Athirappilly, the Vazhachal waterfall is close to dense green forests that are home to many endangered and endemic species of flora and fauna.Plantations in the area contain teak, bamboo, and eucalyptus. The scenic beauty of Athirappilly falls has always been attractive to filmmakers. Visitors can reach the top of the waterfall via a paved path that leads through thick bamboo clusters. A steep narrow path also leads to the bottom of the falls. Overnight Athirappilly
Day 2: Athirapilly - Kumarakom (150 Kms – Approx. 3 Hrs Drive)
After breakfast checkout and proceed to Kumarakom. Kumarakom is a popular tourism destination located near the city of Kottayam, set in the backdrop of the Vembanad Lake, the largest lake in the state of Kerala. The major attraction is the Bird Sanctuary (Working time: 6am- 6pm) which can be visited by canoes arranged by local fishermen at the entrance to the sanctuary. A two-hour rowing canoe trip is quite cheap, and is best undertaken in the evening or early morning to avoid the afternoon sun. There is also the Bay Island Drift Museum (Working time: 10 am- 5 pm) with a huge collection of root sculptures of various shapes and designs. Overnight Kumarakom
Day 3: Kumarakom – Cochin (70Kms – Approx 1 Hr 30 Mins Drive)
After breakfast checkout and proceed to Cochin. Sightseeing at Cochin include Fort Kochi with huge cantilevered Chinese fishing nets (believed to have been introduced in Kochi by Chinese explorer Zheng He between 1350 and 1450 AD.), St. Francis CSI Church (Oldest European church in India), Jew Town with 16th century Jewish Synagogue (closed on every Fridays and Saturdays and Jewish Holidays), Mattancherry Dutch Palace, built by Portuguese in 1555 (Closed on every Fridays), Santa Cruz Cathedral Basilica and drop to the Railway Station/Airport for onward journey, Say good bye to Kerala with wonderful memories of a beautiful vacation with Ebenezer Holidays Pvt.
