Cochin (Arrival) - Munnar (2 Nights) – Thekkady (1 Night) – Alleppey (1 Night) – Kovalam (1 Night) – Trivnadrum/Cochin (Departure)


Day 1: Cochin –Munnar (140 Kms – Approx 4 Hrs Drive)

Upon arrival will meet and proceed to Munnar.  Munnar - as the name itself states, Munnar is the confluence of three mountain streams - Mudrapuzha, Nallathanni and Kundala. Munnar is situated at 1,600 m above sea level. This hill station was once the summer resort of the erstwhile British Government in South India. Sprawling tea plantations, picture-book towns, winding lanes and holiday facilities make Munnar a popular resort town. En-route to Munnar from Cochin you have the opportunity to enjoy the scenic beauty of Cheyyappara waterfalls, Valara waterfalls, Cardamom Plantations and Tea plantations. Check in hotel and evening at leisure. Overnight Munnar


Day 2: Munnar

After breakfast proceed for sightseeing of Munnar which includes Mattupetty Dam (boating at own cost, coordinate with driver), Echo point where the natural Echo phenomenon is always happening, Honeybee Tree, Anamudi Peak view point (highest peak in south India standing at a height of over 2700 m), Kundala Dam and lake, the Eravikulam (Rajamalai) National Park which is a 30 minutes’ drive away from Munnar town (where you can see Nilgiri Tahr the rare species of Mountain Goat), Tata Tea Museum, Rose Garden and Blossom Park. Overnight Munnar


Day 3: Munnar – Thekkady (130 Kms – Approx 3 Hrs 30 Mins Drive)

After breakfast proceed to Thekkady. Thekkady is India's major wildlife sanctuaries, sprawled over an area of 777sq.kms is rich in varied flora and fauna. Enjoy a boating (on own) at the lake and this is the only wildlife sanctuary in India where you can have the unique experience of viewing wildlife at close from the safety of a boat on the lake. The probable animals to watch are Bison, Gaur, Wild Elephants, Sambhar and a wide variety of birds. And also visit the Spices plantations. You can do other optional activities like, Elephant safari, Kalari payattu (A traditional martial art), Kathakali Show (A traditional performance art), Ayurveda massages etc at Thekkady and these are not included in the package cost. Day 4: Thekkady – Alleppey (170 Kms – Approx 5 Hrs Drive)

After breakfast proceed to Alleppey to check into houseboat at 12 Noon. Houseboat Cruise through the backwaters is the most enchanting holiday experience in the world. Step aboard and the native oars men will take you to an amazing world of delights and tranquillity with a blend of nature in its entire traditional splendour pampering all your senses and rejuvenating your body. Start cruising through the Punnamada Lake, venue of the famous Nehru Trophy Boat Race. Enter the enchanting waters of the Vembanad Lake; enjoy the panoramic views and the glimpses of the life along the banks. Also enjoy traditional Kerala cuisines.  Overnight Houseboat


Day 5: Alleppey – Kovalam (170 Kms – Approx 4 Hrs Drive)

After breakfast proceed to Kovalam. The most famous beach town of the Arabian Sea. The Lighthouse Beach is the one most frequented by tourists with 118 feet lighthouse coloured in red and white bands and its intermittent beams at night render the beach with an unearthly charm. Shallow waters stretching for hundreds of metres are ideal for swimming. One has the option to walk along the sea-wall too. The sight of the waves lashing on the rocks below is awesome. The beaches have steep palm covered headlands and are lined with shops that offer all kinds of goods and services. The sea port of Vizhinjam is about 3 km away and famous for its special varieties of fish and Saagarika Vizhinjam Marine Aquarium rich treasure of marine wealth which has perfected the Image Pearl production technique (Working Time: 9am-5pm). Day 6: Kovalam – Trivandrum (16 Kms – Approx 30 Mins Drive)

After breakfast proceed to Thiruvananthapuram. Also known as Trivandrum- is the capital city and the largest city of the Indian state of Kerala. The world's richest temple Padmanabhaswamy Temple is located here. The city is also known for its unique style of architecture involving Kerala architecture with British and Dravidian influences in Napier museumZoo which is one of the oldest in Asia, Kuthiramalika and Kilimanoor Palaces. And the Kerala Science and Technology Museum includes the Priyadarsini Planetarium with the biggest projection screen in south India. Sree Chitra Art Gallery with its rich collection of exquisite paintings is another attraction.
